What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at The Saucy Shrimp?
The server is responsible for selling and serving food and drinks in a professional manner and maintaining cleanliness within the restaurant.
Major Responsibilities: Primary duties include but are not limited to:
• Ability to sell alcohol, drinks and food items
• Able to use a Point of Sale to process customers’ orders
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Process credit card transactions
• Maintain side work
• Able to clear, clean, and reset a table
• Maintain personal hygiene
• Report to on call shifts as directed
• Must be able to serve alcohol
• Other duties as directed
Physical Requirements: A server must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry through the restaurant, stand their entire shift, and communicate clearly.
Typical Work Week: 20-25 hours (including on call shifts)
Minimum of one year of serving experience is required.
