General Description
The Sanitary Board of the City of Charleston (CSB) is seeking to fill a Laborer/Truck Driver/Operator (LTO) position in the Building and Grounds Department of its Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Essential Duties
· Haul sewage sludge and grit to a landfill with CSB’s dump trucks.
· Perform all facets of manual labor for upkeep, preventative maintenance and repairs within CSB’s buildings, grounds and wastewater plant.
· Assist with performing preventative maintenance and repairs of CSB’s plant and fleet equipment.
· Upkeep and routine maintenance of CSB’s dump trucks.
Education and Experience
· Must have a valid West Virginia Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B (CDL-A or B) preferably without a manual transmission restriction (E-restriction).
· Experience driving single and tandem axle dump trucks.
· Experience performing manual labor and have good mechanical aptitude.
· High school diploma or GED.
