What You'll Do

As a Project Manager at the Samuels Group, you'll be at the helm of exciting and complex construction projects from start to finish. You'll collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, and internal teams to ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and beyond expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with project owners and stakeholders.
• Review project plans for constructability and cost efficiency; flag issues early.
• Collaborate with Estimating during bidding and review final bids with the team.
• Lead trade contractor/supplier buy-out and prepare scopes of work.
• Assist in developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules.
• Oversee all project cost codes, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and documentation through project management software (e.g., Procore).
• Conduct weekly site progress meetings with owners and trade partners.
• Prepare and manage monthly pay applications and project cash flow.
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices and manage lien waivers.
• Ensure clear communication of all site policies and procedures.
• Lead internal project meetings and ensure accurate meeting documentation.
• Drive project close-out procedures including final cost reports and lessons learned.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, trade school, comparable training or the equivalent combination with 5 -10 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry.
• 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with projects over $10M.
• Progressive responsibilities in the areas of estimating, project management and field knowledge.
• Ability to determine and prepare project schedules with understanding of the construction process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera P6, and/or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
