Job Summary
The Sample Room is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Restaurant Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations. This role involves assisting guests, supporting food and beverage service, maintaining clean and organized dining areas, and working closely with the restaurant team to provide an efficient and welcoming dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist with taking customer orders and ensuring order details are accurate.
- Support food and beverage preparation and service according to established procedures.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Assist guests with menu questions and general requests.
- Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
- Restock food, beverage, dining, and service supplies.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist servers, kitchen staff, and other team members during busy service periods.
- Prepare service areas and supplies before opening and throughout each shift.
- Assist with point-of-sale and customer payment procedures as assigned.
- Respond to guest questions and concerns politely and professionally.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Communicate customer needs and operational issues to supervisors.
- Perform other restaurant service and customer support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
