Position Type: Part Time Seasonal Position @ 20 hours/week Mon-Fri
About this opportunity:
Assist Youth Development Professionals with reading to members, asking questions and discussing what was read for the day. Assist Youth Development Professionals with camper participation in group activities. Assist Youth Development Professionals with Educational Games and Activities for the groups
Qualifications:What we are looking for in you:
All Red Shield Youth Center Interns are required to complete a Safe from Harm Packet in its entirety and strictly adhere to all rules and regulations as directed under the Safe From Harm program guidelines.
Dress appropriately – modest attire; Be punctual.
Be courteous. Be kind.
Be patient.
Perform all assigned tasks.
Respect The Salvation Army staff / Supervisors.
Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any problems.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Requires sitting for prolonged periods of time. May require stooping, bending, standing, running or walking.
Working Conditions:
Work will be performed in a recreational area where there may be noise, or dust; work may be performed indoors or outdoors.
