The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every man or woman being provided a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. All our effort is focused on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is looking for Security staff for the residential program.
Duties:
The Security position will assist with night security for the residential program to provide a caring, respectful, and safe atmosphere for those seeking life transformation through the ARC program.
Responsibilities include:
- Check personnel for proper identification and clearance.
- Permit and document authorized people to enter property and document anyone exiting.
- Conduct rounds throughout the building, maintain log book, and monitor alarm systems and video surveillance.
- Request emergency personnel for any high-risk situations.
- Sound alarm or call police or fire department by telephone in case of fire, difficulty with unauthorized people, or medical emergencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Security experience preferred.
- Must be able to write log entries and incident reports as needed.
- Must be in agreement with The Salvation Army’s Christian spiritual approach to rehabilitation.
- Must be certified in basic First Aid including Narcan administration or become certified within 60 days of hire.
