Schedule / Hours: Day, Evening, and Saturday Availability 23- 29 hours per week
This Position is responsible for:
The Kroc Associate is focused on member acquisition and experience in the areas of Membership, Recreation and Fitness. These staff members are responsible for participating in the creation of a welcoming, helpful, and safe environment where individuals and families can learn, grow, and thrive. Oversees the daily use of the fitness center and equipment by members, guests, and visitors; ensures safe, professional, and enjoyable operation of the fitness area; ensures the safety, cleanliness and proper maintenance of the fitness facility and equipment; opens and/or closes the gym and basic set up for events on a daily basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Duty 1. Provides Excellent Customer Service and Experience to Members, Guests, and Colleagues
- Duty 2. Operates the POS System
- Duty 3. Maintains Knowledge Necessary to be Proficient
- Duty 4. Performs other duties as required
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to read, write and communicate the English language
- Ability to demonstrate good physical condition and effort associated with walking, running, standing, and moderate-to-advanced weight lifting in a fitness center environment including the ability to meet the demands of the gymnasium and athletic field programs.
- Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (25-50 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Moderate mobility: duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent changes basis.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Or Experience in customer relations and leading fitness and recreational activities preferred.
- Or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications
· Safe From Harm Certification
· Blood Borne Pathogens Certification
· Must have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aide/AED certification within first 30 days of employment.
