ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Schedule/Hours: Part-Time – 29hours per week
This position is responsible for:
Works autonomously in the kitchen and handles the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food for meals, snacks, and special events; assists in setting up the physical arrangements for meetings and events as instructed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals, beverages and snacks.
- Washes and chops fruit and vegetables.
- Serve a variety of foods and beverages.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to safely lift and carry objects such as coffee pot, plates, glasses, and flatware on a frequent basis.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time while performing job responsibilities.
Work is performed in a kitchen and dining room where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- 1 year of experience working in a dining hall or food service environment preferred, OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Licenses and Certifications:
SERV safe Certification within first six months of employment.
