ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Schedule/Hours: Various according to scheduled events. Works evenings and weekends on a consistent basis
This position is responsible for:
Cleans, sets up, and services conference space and guest activity areas; serves as host for guest groups; maintains excellent interpersonal skills and professional and cheerful customer service communications.
Key Responsibilities:
• With direction from the Guest Services Manager, serves as a host to groups and events.
• Assists with the check-in/check-out of groups.
• Checks with guest group leaders before sessions and during meal times to ensure an awareness of needs they may have; maintains radio availability to guests.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to lead potential users in tours of the camp facilities.
•Ability to drive a golf cart.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.
• Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints.
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
•Duties require frequent periods of physical mobility including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and lifting. Physical duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.
• Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with lifting, moving, and carrying heavy objects (more than 50 lbs.) frequently.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
• High school diploma or G. E.D., and
• Two years experience in camping ministry and/or hospitality related industry including experience leading the work of others.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid State Drivers License
