ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Warehouse Worker FT Tuesday - Saturday
This position is responsible for:
Receives, sorts, and stores donated items in the Warehouse storage area: determines the acceptability of donated items based on established standards; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area. Assist customers dropping off donated items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives, inspects, sorts donated items according to the category and condition.
- Selects items suitable and distributes same to appropriate storage area in accordance with established procedures.
- Tags items with dates in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepares non-suitable items for discard.
- Assist customers dropping off donations, including completing receipts for donations.
- Maintains warehouse and loading dock area in a neat and orderly manner.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull items up to 25lbs.
- Ability to work around dirt and dust and the like in a warehouse setting.
- Work is performed with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Education and Experience:
- No formal education or experience required. High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
