ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Responsible for the preventative/predictive maintenance and janitorial efficiency at the Center of Hope facilities. The facilities include but are not limited to the Center of Hope. Assists Facilities Manager with the planning and execution of the facilities department requirements for special events on campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and provides oversight for the daily housekeeping and maintenance staff.
- Requisitions supplies from maintenance-ensures records and receipts of purchases related to facility maintenance.
- Maintains inventory levels.
- Conducts and oversees weekly inspections ensuring general housekeeping and maintenance practices are being maintained.
- Monitors energy/water consumption and corrects and/or reports unusual usage conditions or leaks.
- Monitors security, fire protection systems to ensure proper function.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting ( up to 60lbs).
- Ability to perform continuous walking, lifting, bending, climbing.
- Ability to work in storage, warehouse environments with dirt, dust and the like.
- Ability to perform work duties in all weather environments.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- High School Diploma or GED and
- Two (2) years experience in facility maintenance or
- Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- Valid Drivers License
