What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expediter (6816) position at THE SALVATION ARMY?
Receives, sorts, prices, tags, packs, and distributes donated items for shipment to the Family Stores; ensures all donated items are unloaded and processed in an efficient, effective and timely manner in accordance with established Salvation Army policies and procedures and local, state and federal regulations; serves as a liaison to the Store Supervisor and ensures the stores receive needed merchandise. Warehouse Experience Preferred.
Qualifications:Education and Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred, and experience working in a warehouse or retail establishment sorting and pricing merchandise and furniture or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
