Salary: $300.00 (weekly)
This position is responsible for: Providing music instruction to campers under the direction of the Conservatory Director AND performs a variety of clerical and secretarial work necessary for the smooth operation of the camp office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with copying, filing or other office responsibilities as needed.
- Assists with preparations for camper registration including checking in paperwork.
- Provides quality music instruction to campers. Teaches music theory as it applies to the appropriate level for playing purposes. Provides appropriate lessons for instruction time
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Some physical requirements of the Camp Office Assistant/Instructor position could be endurance including climbing, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate canteen/office equipment and activities are required. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available. Operate with daily exposure to the sun and heat and varying environmental conditions.

- Camp Staff Orientation will be held June 8 – 14, 2026, and participation is required. The 2026 summer Camp program session will be held June 15 - July 19, 2026. If you are unable to work the entire session, please let us know on your application.

- Six months’ experience teaching dance or drama, with the ability to perform and teach lessons in a classroom setting involving more than one student preferred, or
