Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide courteous, professional, and responsive customer service at all
- Support daily store operations, including opening and closing tasks as
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual standards, including
- Receive donations and handle all items respectfully and
- Sort, price, hang, tag, and stock merchandise according to established
- Maintain proper organization of merchandise by category, colorization, and established rag-out
- Perform cashier duties, including operating the point-of-sale system and processing transactions
- Follow all cash handling policies and
- Restock merchandise and assist customers as needed throughout the
- Adhere to the Thrift Store Employee Handbook and all established
- Perform other duties as assigned by the
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A combination of education and at least one year of relevant work experience preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication
- Experience using a cash register or point-of-sale system and handling cash
- Ability to work effectively as part of a
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and
- Basic math skills and ability to manage transactions
