Qualifications
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the non-profit sector with an emphasis on social services is preferred
- Must have knowledge of computers and all Microsoft Office Suite software applications, as well as extensive knowledge and use of Lotus Notes
- Must have excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills; both oral and written
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as typing letters and composing emails
- Ability to follow directions without supervision
- Excellent detail, organization and file management skills
- Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
- Ability to work in a team setting with other professionals
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Oversee the daily aspects of the Social Services Office
- Interview, evaluate, document and provide assistance where applicable for the following services: food, clothing, shelter, utilities, transportation, and other needs.
- Maintain and update client files in the TSA computer program
- Work with businesses, churches, and other community organizations to provide services and secure donations
- Attend community networking meetings as assigned by the Corps Officer
- Prepare and submit all monthly reports such as Three Square food bank, Advisory Board, etc.
- Maintain order and neatness of all common areas and office area
- Stock and maintain the food pantry
- Recruit, coordinate, train, and supervise volunteers
- Supervise, schedule, maintain records, and submit reports for community service workers
- Assist with the Christmas Angel program as needed
- Assist temporary seasonal staff as needed
- Other duties as assigned
