Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a full-size cargo van and pick-up donated food items from stores and individuals during the Christmas Season and other times as needed
• Must be trustworthy.
• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Must possess the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must have a pleasant disposition
• Must be in good mental and physical health – possessing the ability to lift 70 pounds or more.
• Maintain and manage a safe working environment.
• Must be able to work well with others
  
  

Additional Qualifications

• Incredibly strong organizational skills
• Good people skills
• Good public speaking and writing skills
• Flexible schedule
• Able to pass the driving test administered by The Salvation Army and provide required documents
  
  

Essential Duties

• Coordinate all volunteers ringing bells
• Assemble all kettle stands
• Organize kettle supplies, Bells, Aprons, Supply bags, etc.
• Schedule Kettle Workers
• Deliver and set up kettles for workers
• Pick up kettles as needed at end of day
• Pick up the deposit slips daily
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Hours: 40hrs/week:

• Mainly days, some evenings and weekends required.
• Hours may vary and overtime may be required.
• Temporary employment for Christmas season
