Schedule: Weekend availability is required, including coverage for the Rockwall

- Rockwall hours: Wednesdays 5:00pm-7:00pm, Saturdays 12:00pm-5:00pm
- Additional weekday and evening shifts may be available based on Center needs
Kroc Attendants play a vital role in daily Kroc Center operations by assisting members, monitoring activity areas, maintaining safety standards, and supporting events and programs. This role combines customer service, safety oversight, set-up support, and light cleaning duties in a dynamic and people-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all members and guests
- Monitor access points, enforce Kroc Center policies, and respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies
- Provide equipment orientations and ensure proper use of fitness and recreation equipment
- Deliver friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable customer service - greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting as needed
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring spaces are prepared for programs and activities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and common areas
- Support a positive, inclusive atmosphere throughout the Kroc Center
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior customer service experience is a plus, but enthusiastic beginners are welcome
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in a busy environment
- Proactive, responsible, and dependable approach to work
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to safety or facility needs
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Regular bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting equipment or supplies (up to 45lbs)
- Work performed in an active community center environment with varying noise levels
- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, fitness equipment, and high-traffic activity areas
