What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian/Driver (Yonkers Corps) position at The Salvation Army Eastern Territory?
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain facility daily.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms daily. Replace paper products as needed
- Empty all trash receptacles, place trash/recycling curbside for pickup
- Vacuum carpets daily
- Change lightbulbs do light maintenance and repairs
- Paint as needed
- Pick up and maintain cleaning supplies as needed
- Setup tables and chairs as needed
- Always ensure security of the building
- Responsible for keeping maintenance records/ cleaning for vehicles
- Assist with unloading of trucks as required
- Ensure signage/ equipment are in working condition
- Assist with pickup and drop off of seasonal workers as needed
- Shoveling and salting sidewalks
- Additional responsibilities as directed by Corps Officers
Qualifications
- Current driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Able to lift 60lbs.
