What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kettle Coordinator position at The Salvation Army Central Territory?

The Kettle Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks necessary for running the Red Kettle Campaign
About the role:
- Completing route maps for kettles
- Verifying and printing bell ringer schedule
- Contacting, via phone, paid and volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing times, and updating software for actual hours worked
- Working with volunteer groups to establish date and time for ringing
- Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship and counter kettles
- Drop off and pick up kettles and paid bell ringers in time sensitive windows, to include writing out bucket slips and locking kettles in secured area,
- Organizing kettle placement and pick-ups and ensuring adequate supplies are at each ringing location
- Training and managing paid bell ringers and assigning them to kettle locations
- May be asked to assist in other seasonal tasks as well
- Able to work Monday through Saturday as needed
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications: Valid driver’s license with approval to drive from TSA’s insurance carrier required.
Experience: Dealing with people in a customer service or sales role
