Qualifications
- Must be trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must demonstrate good customer service and interpersonal skills when interacting with donors and the public.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods, ringing a bell, lifting kettles and related equipment, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be punctual and maintain a dependable attendance record.
- Must be willing to support and represent The Salvation Army's mission and values.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
- Must have a clean driving record for the past 3 to 4 years, with no major violations, OWI/DUI convictions, or excessive moving violations.
- Must be insurable under The Salvation Army's vehicle insurance requirements.
Summary of Position
Represent The Salvation Army at the Red Kettle Stand and ring the bell at assigned locations as scheduled. This is a seasonal position with a varying workweek expectation of up to 40 hours per week and this position is without benefits.
Wage: Up to $14.00/hour, up to 40 hours a week as a temporary position
