Schedule/Hours: 40
This position is responsible for:
Monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring compliance to house rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checks clients into the shelter, prepares and monitors client intake records.
- Responds to emergencies in a calm manner and initiates appropriate corrective actions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Track client data in HMIS.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to perform combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis. Distance of travel is usually within the same building. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED AND
- One year experience performing security work or social service worker preferred OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid State Drivers License
