Job Summary
The Salty Dog Bar & Grill is seeking a dependable and experienced Bar Supervisor to help lead daily bar operations and support a high-quality guest experience. This position will assist with staff supervision, beverage service, inventory, shift coordination, and maintaining a clean and organized bar environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise bartenders and bar staff during assigned shifts.
- Help coordinate opening, closing, and daily bar procedures.
- Monitor beverage inventory and communicate ordering needs to management.
- Ensure drinks are prepared and served consistently and efficiently.
- Support staff with guest requests, service concerns, and problem resolution.
- Assist with training new bartenders and reinforcing service standards.
- Monitor cash handling and help maintain accurate shift records.
- Keep the bar stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Help control beverage waste and maintain appropriate product levels.
- Ensure staff follow responsible alcohol-service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy service periods.
- Support management with special events, promotions, and high-volume shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending, bar supervision, or restaurant leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of beverage and bar-service operations.
- Excellent communication and team-leadership skills.
- Ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a busy bar-and-grill environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34.0 per week
