Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and upbeat Receptionist/Concierge to be the main point of contact for our team and guests. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented with a can-do attitude and will be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for booking appointments, managing a schedule, greeting guests, and providing detailed, informative and accurate information about the Spa and Lodging. The goal is to help the guests feel welcome and give them a memorable experience.
Required Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet Guests warmly and happily as they enter the spa
- Book appointments using our reservation system both in person and over the phone
- Monitor availability of appointments, lodges and retail items
- Answer phones in a professional manner
- Ensure all guests' needs are met in terms of service, spa reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, etc.
- Check voicemail and respond to emails from guests
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist other team members as needed
- Laundry duties and cleaning of work areas, lobby areas and bathrooms
- Coordinating with housekeeping staff for Lodge turnovers, spa laundry and cleaning duties to see where assistance is needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
The Spa Concierge position requires the ability to multi-task in a very busy environment. You will be face-to-face with guests booking appointments, checking them in and out, answering multi-line phone systems, coordinating with both guests and staff to ensure a flawless and exceptional interaction, as well as assisting with stocking and selling of retail items in both gift shops.
Job Requirements
- Customer Service experience of at least 2 years
- Experience using multi-line phone system and receptionist duties
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with Management, team members and guests
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Proper grammar, punctuation and spelling skills
- Organizational and cleanliness skills
- Overall passion for helping others
Pay starts at $15 per hour based on experience, plus commission and tips.
