Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them through their visit
- Assist customers with product information, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash register operations
- Manage stock levels on the sales floor by stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining an organized store environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales growth
- Handle retail math accurately for transactions, including giving correct change and balancing cash drawers at shift end
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail store product knowledge will help you succeed in this role
