Teaching Assistant (Early Childhood): Description and Responsibilities

The Early Childhood Teaching Assistant is responsible assiting homeroom teachers in the instruction of foundational understanding and skills in core academic and social areas for Early Childhood students. The Instructor will:

• Work with students needing additional one on one instruction.
• Assist Instructor by monitoring student work and play.
  
  

Qualifications: Teaching experience in a classical, Charlotte Mason, or Waldorf school preferred. Extensive personal and/or professional experience in working with children. Excellent rapport with students of all ages. Strong understanding of the ethos and values of The Saint Constantine School philosophy of education and play.

Reports To: Early Childhood Dean

Salary Classification: Part-time, exempt, ten months

Supervision of Others: No

Hours Per Week: 40
