General Construction Worker

We are seeking team members experienced in General Construction to join our construction field team. This is a hands-on role for an individual with construction experience who is skilled with tools and equipment, able to work independently, and committed to quality workmanship.

We use specialized building methods and provide training on our specific construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on work throughout all phases of new-build projects
  • Measure, lay out, cut, fit, assemble, and install building components
  • Safely operate construction tools and equipment
  • Read and follow plans, drawings, measurements, and instructions
  • Complete assigned work independently, accurately, and efficiently
  • Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and proper installation
  • Identify and resolve routine field construction issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
  • Properly use and maintain company tools, equipment, and materials
  • Follow company construction methods, processes, and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Take ownership of assigned work through completion

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on construction experience; 1–3 years preferred
  • Proficiency with construction tools and equipment
  • Ability to measure, cut, fit, assemble, and install materials accurately
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Ability to read and follow construction plans and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Ability to troubleshoot routine construction issues
  • Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to travel to jobsites up to approximately one hour away
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide required employment documentation

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

  • Stucco
  • Masonry
  • Concrete work
  • Framing
  • New-build construction
  • Willingness and ability to occasionally travel for out-of-state projects

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role. The employee must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

  • Work on their feet throughout the workday
  • Perform physical construction work for extended periods
  • Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Hold and support up to 50 lbs. for at least 5 minutes
  • Perform all physical activities associated with active construction work and jobsites

Compensation, Benefits & Advancement

  • Starting pay is based on experience and qualifications
  • 90-day probationary period for all new hires
  • At 90 days, employees may request a compensation review based on performance
  • Employees are evaluated for advancement opportunities, including Construction Leader and Foreman roles
  • Regular performance reviews provide ongoing opportunities for pay increases and advancement
  • After successful completion of the 90-day probationary period, eligible employees receive:

Attendance & Reliability

Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential requirement of this position.

Employees are expected to report on time, prepared to work, and maintain consistent attendance. Attendance, punctuality, performance, professionalism, and reliability are key evaluation factors during the 90-day probationary period.

Unscheduled or unapproved tardiness or absences during the probationary period will result in termination of employment, subject to applicable law and company policy.
