Organization Overview:
The Sacred Portion Children’s Outreach, a Christian, faith-based orphan care and adoption ministry located in Bozeman, Montana, is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team!
Candidates are preferred to have a marketing and/or fundraising degree or experience.
Job Duties:
- Community relationship management; building new connections, maintaining existing relationships, regular communication and follow-up
- Donor communication; new outreach, maintaining current relationships, communicating updates and achievements, stewardship
- Event coordination; planning, organizing logistics, coordinating vendors and partners, overseeing execution of fundraising goals, follow-up
- Volunteer coordination; recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, communication, recognition
- Outreach and engagement efforts; connecting with community groups, attending events, increasing participation and visibility
- Communications and promotion; social media, newsletters, email outreach, website updates, creating/updating direct marketing materials
- Data tracking and reporting; maintaining CRM/database, tracking participation and engagement, compiling reports and insights
- Internal communication; coordinating with board members regarding events and updates, includes attending board meetings once a month
- Budgeting; monitoring expenses for community outreach, assisting with budgeting for future expenses and goals
- Community representation; representing the organization at events, meetings, and public forums
- Third-party coordination; working with website administrators, IT department, etc.
- Strategic planning support; identifying engagement opportunities, supporting campaigns, contributing to long-term goals
- This role may temporarily support aspects of our child sponsorship program in partnership with our Administrative Assistant, until a dedicated position is established for that area of ministry.
Please note: We are a small Christian ministry seeking an individual who is willing to invest in our work with a long-term commitment. We strongly prefer candidates who plan to remain in the Bozeman area long term, as this role focuses on building lasting relationships with donors and our local community.
