For nearly two decades, RSM students have consistently achieved remarkable scores on standardized tests and in national and international math competitions, although attaining top test scores is just one of the benefits of our program. RSM helps students of all levels become more confident in math and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.

 

RSM is growing and  hiring a Director of Administration at our Scarsdale, NY location. The Director of Administration directs the activities of the school staff, maintains school schedule, ensures emergency procedures are followed and directs branch operation.

 

Essential Responsibilities: 

 

  • Plan, manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the school consistent with the philosophy, mission, values and goals of RSM
  • Evaluate staffing levels, interviews and hires for the ongoing business needs to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Ensure all RSM policies are followed and recommends necessary procedures
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, teachers and office staff with a mission to achieve academic excellence
  • Regularly communicate with the School Principal, providing necessary feedback
  • Prepare and analyze trends and reports regarding office and branch operation
  • Work with the Principal and Marketing Department in developing, implementing and managing marketing plans and events
  • Establishes procedures that create and maintain attractive, organized, functional, healthy, clean and safe facilities

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Economics or related field
  • Minimum two years of experience working in a school system or university settings 


Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Economics or related field
  • Teaching experience for at least 1 year
  • Exposure to or experience in other than U.S. models of Math Education is a plus
  • Familiarity with Math competitions

  • Establish and maintain productive, collaborative relationships with others and relate to students with mutual respect while carrying out a positive and effective disciplinary program.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for others. 
  • Ability to analyze and interpret assessment results for the purpose of designing and modifying instruction.
  • Ability to create an environment where children from diverse backgrounds are comfortable and experience success; excellent skills to build relationships with families.
  • Proficient user of computer systems
