Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate residential, multi-family & commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction management expertise, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The Construction Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, Sub-contractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless project execution from inception to completion.
Duties
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 and construction scheduling software.
- Oversee project budgets, cost management, and resource allocation to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project specifications meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
- Manage teams in a construction management role by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing leadership.
- Ensure construction site safety protocols are followed in compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and progress.
- Prepare reports on project status, risks, and issues for stakeholders.
- Manage change orders and contractual modifications efficiently while maintaining project integrity.
- Utilize construction management software for project scheduling, cost control, document control, and communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex infrastructure projects with a strong background in construction management.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software including ProCore, Bluebeam, ProEst, Buildertrend, Square takeoff, and other construction management tools.
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling coordination, cost management, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of contracts and project documentation processes.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
