Shillington Box Co., a TRG company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, currently has an exciting opportunity available for Production Maintenance Tech's (2nd Shift) at our St. Louis, MO facility!

As a Production Maintenance Tech, you will perform preventative maintenance activities on all existing equipment.

Essential Job Functions:
- Troubleshoot, maintain or repair Baler, Conveyors, forklifts, loaders and other equipment. Perform some welding and fabrication.
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, fixtures, and tools.
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Ability to operate the Cogz Maintenance system.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous industrial mechanical experience required.
- Previous experience in working with corrugated packaging equipment such as flexo folder gluers, rotary diecutters, balers, conveyors, unitizers and load formers is a plus.
- Must be willing to join the Carpenters' Union.
