Position Summary

The Roxbury Institute is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Medical Assistant / Medical Scribe to join our Tucson, AZ location with the potential to transition into a permanent part-time position.

This is a hands-on, hybrid role that combines medical assisting, medical scribing, front desk support, patient coordination, and general clinic operations. Because our Tucson location is a smaller specialty clinic with a focused patient volume, we are looking for someone who is comfortable multitasking and stepping into different areas of the clinic as needed.

The position will initially be scheduled Monday through Wednesday, with the potential to expand to Thursday and Friday as patient volume and clinic needs increase. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing with the clinic and has flexibility to potentially increase their schedule over time.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys variety, is highly organized, professional, patient-focused, and understands that no two days may look exactly the same. When patient flow is lighter, this individual will assist with administrative, chart preparation, front desk, documentation, and clinic organization responsibilities.
