This is a full-time, on-site role for a Stationary Engineer at The Roosevelt New Orleans, located in New Orleans, LA. The Stationary Engineer will oversee and maintain the hotel's mechanical systems and ensure the safe operation and upkeep of plant operations including managing steam systems, water treatment processes, and conducting regular preventive maintenance. The role involves diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the property meets high operational standards to provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Strong skills and experience in Maintenance & Repair tasks to manage and resolve equipment and system issues.
- Knowledge and experience in Plant Operations, including overseeing multiple systems to ensure efficient and safe functioning.
- Familiarity with Steam systems and their operation, including maintenance and safety protocols.
- Understanding and experience in Water Treatment processes to ensure system compliance and performance.
- Experience in performing Preventive Maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and avoid downtime of building systems and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to ensure system reliability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and departments to address operational needs.
- Relevant certifications in stationary engineering or a related field are preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is a plus.
