We are a leading eCommerce provider of commercial and residential roofing systems to the industry. We support contractors who rely on us to help them increase their profits and become more productive.
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate in our Houston branch to fulfill orders, receive, stock, and replenish inventory. You will safely fulfill orders with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand for online and local customers as well as load, unload trucks to receive orders or prepare orders for jobsites/shipping. There will be the occasional local delivery.
We're offering $23-28/hr based on experience and you start to earn PTO from day 1
Responsibilities:
- Quality customer service with clear communication skills
- Count, verify and manually unload incoming orders and shipments.
- Utilize a forklift and/ or electric pallet jacks for moving inventory
- Verify and manually load orders on outgoing trucks using a forklift.
- Verify and manually load outgoing orders onto customer vehicles.
- Perform general warehouse and office maintenance, including cleaning and painting.
- Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Maintain inventory in appropriate/designated storage areas inwarehouse.
- Drive a truck when necessary for local deliveries.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a forklift desirable
- Ability to learn product lines
- High School Diploma/GED Prefered, but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs throughout the day as necessary
- Forklift operation or training
- Ability to read, speak and write the English language.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required
- Must have reliable transportation to work each day.
- Must pass a drug and background check prior to start
