Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning? Join our team as an Early Education Teacher in our certified childcare center. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of children from infancy to age 12.
You will work closely with colleagues and families to create a warm, engaging, and stimulating atmosphere for our little learners. Your creativity and enthusiasm will inspire children to explore outdoors, discover, and grow in their early developmental stages.

Responsibilities
- Assist in Developing and implement age-appropriate activities.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Provide individualized support to children based on their needs and developmental levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with Director, parents and families regarding their child's progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- Creativity and enthusiasm in creating, following and engaging children in activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive environment.
AND at least ONE of the Following:
- 750 hours of teaching experience in a Certified Center.
OR
- One year or 1500 hours of experience in a Registered Family or Certified Family Center.
OR
- A minimum of or an equivalent to an associate Degree or Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Human Development, or Child and Family Studies.
OR
- Attaining at least step 6 in the Oregon Registry.
OR
- Or a state or nationally recognized credential e.g. Child Development Associate (CDA)
Additional training required after hire.
