Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Events Coordinator/Assistant to support our Events Sales team. The ideal candidate will assist the Events Sales Manager with client communications, administrative tasks, and the coordination of event logistics. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for events and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Events Sales Manager in the planning and execution of events, ensuring all details align with client expectations and venue standards.
- Assist with client inquiries, providing timely and accurate information about venue offerings, availability, and pricing.
- Coordinate site visits for prospective clients, preparing necessary materials and ensuring a professional presentation of the venue.
- Help manage client contracts, proposals, and other documentation, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain event sales records and client files, ensuring data is up-to-date and organized.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of event marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media content.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure all event details are confirmed and executed smoothly.
- Support the Events Sales Manager in managing event timelines, budgets, and schedules.
- Provide on-site support during events as needed, assisting with setup, coordination, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Handle post-event follow-up with clients to gather feedback and support future sales efforts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning, sales support, or a related role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
