Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational spaces to uphold hotel standards.
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, towels, and other supplies to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and continuous quality control.
- Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for maximum efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Skills
- Minimum 2 years Hotel experience.
- Proven experience in cleaning in a hotel environment ,with a focus on thoroughness and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and standards of cleanliness within a hospitality setting.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment when necessary.
- Excellent custodial skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness across various surfaces and materials.
- Experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising teams in housekeeping management roles is a plus.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy items, and working on your feet for extended periods.
