Duties
- Cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and adherence to food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, and food processors safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances in compliance with sanitation regulations
- Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming dishes and special events
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service
- Follow all safety protocols during food handling, cooking, and cleaning processes to prevent accidents or contamination
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Proven food service experience in a restaurant or catering environment
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and ability to adhere strictly to safety standards in production
- Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment and tools efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and team members
