What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piano Teacher position at The Rock Box Music School?
The Rock Box Music School, a well established and vibrant music school with two sister locations in the Sarasota & Bradenton area (Elizabeth Farrell Music) is looking for a talented and reliable professional musician with a minimum Bachelors Degree in a field of Music with principal instrument being PIANO.
QUALIFICATIONS:
We seek a qualified professional, degreed and highly proficient in teaching piano to all levels. Those who have experience teaching secondary instruments is a huge plus. Must be comfortable teaching all ages, with a particularly great rapport with children. Prior teaching experience with a proven track record is also required. We frequently engage in collaboration between teachers and students and need a team-player.
SCHEDULE:
Our North Port School is incredibly busy and looking to replace a current instructor. Currently, it's 4 days a week with about 15 hours already on the books across 4 days (M/T/W/F) and is continuing to fill with new students. There is flexibility add a 5th day as well, if interested.
Although work hours can be somewhat flexible, typical teaching hours are approximately 1-8pm (with breaks) during the week and 10-4pm on Saturday's.
**This schedule can be taken as - is possibly split amongst more than one new hire**
START DATE:
This position can start ASAP (within a month of interview/offer)
