Key Responsibilities
System Optimization: Manage and maintain the Latitude WMS to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
Database Management: Utilize SQL expertise to monitor, maintain, and optimize database performance while ensuring data integrity.
Collaboration: Partner with project leads, developers, and IT teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and streamline system functionality.
Upgrades and Maintenance: Coordinate with third-party vendors for system upgrades, firmware updates, and performance monitoring.
Training and Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials to empower team members with the knowledge to excel.
Troubleshooting: Serve as the lead problem-solver for complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
What You Bring to the Team
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 5 years Systems Administrator
- PathGuide Technologies Latitude WMS (this is essential)
- SQL databases (administration and optimization).
- Solid experience in high-availability environments, ensuring system reliability.
- Deep skill in systems design, programming, and support for complex software solutions.
- Crystal Reports for data analysis and reporting.
· Familiarity with distribution processes like shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and inventory adjustments.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SQL Server, programming languages, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of enterprise backup, recovery procedures, and system monitoring tools.
- Experience with Windows Server (2008 and later) and ERP systems (QAD preferred).
- Knowledge of Dell Boomi and application development (Pick programming is a plus).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
