Classroom Caregiver / Support Staff
We're looking for a dependable, caring team member to support our classroom and help create a safe, clean, and positive environment for children.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve daily snacks.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and classroom items.
- Assist children with bathroom breaks and hygiene.
- Support teachers with classroom activities and supervision.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Fill in where needed to support staff and daily operations
The Robin’s Nest Childcare Center and Preschool House provides children 6 weeks to 6 years with warm, nurturing care from a staff led by Early Childhood professionals. A great deal of time is spent outdoors, serving to strengthen children’s growing bodies. Days include creative free play inside and out, wholesome organic morning snack, storytelling, nursery rhymes, and singing!.

We are seeking candidates who are warm, nurturing, kind, and patient. Must be willing to sit on the ground, sing with children, and play outside in all weather. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, be excited to come to work, and have a love of young children.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of The Central Background Registry as well as the state mandated onboarding safety sets or a willingness to obtain.
- Comfortable holding babies and toddlers and helping with basic needs.
- Content to work independently with a small group of children.
- Able to work cooperatively as a member of a team and take instructions from your supervisor.
- Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with all parents, children, community members, and staff members.
