Job Summary: The Robesonian is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team. This position will be responsible for supporting all our newspapers owned and operated by Champion Media, LLC. As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing visual content across multiple platforms for our clients, ensuring their brand message is communicated effectively and professionally.

What Will I Be Doing?
· Create eye-catching and effective advertisements for a variety of local clients who own or operate a local business.
· Collaborate with our editorial and sales teams to understand client needs and objectives to translate advertisements into appealing visual designs.
· Modify designs, layouts, and graphics for various mediums, including print, digital, web and social media.
· Review and proofread designs for errors to ensure accuracy in text, images, and other elements before publication.
· Juggle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Do I Have What It Takes?
· Mastery of Adobe Suite to include InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
· Strong understanding of typography, color theory, grid systems and visual hierarchy.
· High level page layout/design skills.
· A portfolio demonstrating diverse design capabilities across print, digital, and branding.
· Experience in media publishing or layout design for newspapers/magazines.
