Safety Coordinator – Corporate
Location: Green Bay, WI
Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support safety initiatives across multiple plant locations in Wisconsin.
This is a corporate-level position that plays a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and team-oriented work environment. The focus is on Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program management, employee training, documentation, and collaboration with HR, maintenance, and plant leadership to promote a strong safety culture.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, implement, and manage the company-wide Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program
- Conduct employee training, annual LOTO audits, and update energy control procedures
- Partner with plant teams to ensure new and modified equipment meets safety standards
- Support incident reporting, workers’ compensation claims, and safety follow-up
- Coordinate safety trainings, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance records are up to date
- Promote continuous improvement of safety systems across all facilities
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of experience in a safety-related role within manufacturing
- Experience facilitating or coordinating employee safety training
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred
- Food manufacturing experience a plus
Salary : $25 - $30
