Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as an Expo / FOH (Front of House) / Cashier, where you will be the heartbeat of our customer experience! In this dynamic role, you will ensure smooth food service operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
This isnt for the faint of heart, or for someone who wants to try it out. I need someone with experience doing expo on a very busy line. We clear between 200-400 a day.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service from order taking to payment processing.
- Manage front-of-house operations, order accuracy, and timely food delivery.
- Bagging & packing orders as they are made and ready to be handed out.
- Liason between 3rd party delivery services, including handling errors & cancelled orders.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Support kitchen staff by keeping the grab and go full / rotated & clean, keeping the deli case stocked with product, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay special requests or dietary needs from guests.
- Uphold food handling safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is non-negotiable.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, or banquet service is a plus.
- Experience working as a cashier or in customer-facing roles within hospitality settings is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required.
- TOAST POS experience can enhance your ability to deliver exceptional service.
- A passion for hospitality combined with excellent teamwork skills will help you succeed in this energetic role.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
