Position Summary
The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the home health agency, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with all federal, state, and agency regulations. This role provides leadership to clinical staff, ensures adherence to care plans, and supports overall agency growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, HHAs, and therapists
- Ensure compliance with AHCA, Medicare, and agency policies and procedures
- Review and approve plans of care, physician orders, and documentation for accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor patient outcomes and ensure quality of care standards are met
- Assist with OASIS review, SOC/ROC/Recertifications, and documentation audits
- Collaborate with intake, scheduling, and sales teams to ensure seamless patient care coordination
- Participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing competency of clinical staff
- Address clinical issues, patient concerns, and incident reporting
- Assist with survey readiness and participate in state/federal audits
- Manage clinician productivity and field support as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Florida RN license (required)
- Minimum 2–3 years of home health experience (Medicare-certified agency preferred)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of OASIS, Medicare guidelines, and Conditions of Participation (CoPs)
- Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Kinnser/WellSky) preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Clinical Supervisor, DCS, or Clinical Manager
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Experience with RCD, PDGM, and QA/QAPI programs
Work Environment
- Office-based with occasional field visits
- Full-time position with on-call responsibilities as needed
