Position Overview: The Phone Operator will courteously and efficiently answer all incoming calls and connect callers with the correct extension, gather all relevant information, schedule appointments, take and relay messages in a timely manner, and ensure information is appropriately input into the EHR system.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Receptionist.
· Experience in a medical office preferred.
· Experience with electronic health records systems.
· Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Responsibilities:
· Courteously and efficiently answer all incoming calls and connect callers with the correct extension.
· Take and relay messages in a timely manner.
· Perform operator functions including triaging calls, connecting and transferring calls, and scheduling appointments.
· Provide excellent customer service and a pleasant phone experience for callers.
· Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
