The Road Company seeks a dedicated, highly organized individual to support the principals and sales team of this leading Broadway booking agency. This position combines executive support, office management, and sales coordination responsibilities, providing a unique opportunity to learn the business of theatrical booking, touring, arts administration, or live entertainment sales.
Founded in 1997, The Road Company is a theatrical booking agency specializing in Broadway touring throughout North America. Current representation includes the national tours of Wicked, The Outsiders, Death Becomes Her, The Great Gatsby, Dirty Dancing, Heathers, Beetlejuice, The Sound of Music, Cinderella, and many others.
Responsibilities
Sales & Booking Support
- Assist agents with sales and booking activities throughout the touring process.
- Maintain and update client, tour routing, and engagement information within the agency's proprietary database.
- Prepare and distribute tour routes and client communications.
- Conduct research related to markets, venues, presenters, and touring opportunities.
Executive Support
- Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling for the agency principals.
- Coordinate business and personal travel arrangements.
- Arrange restaurant reservations and assist with other administrative requests.
- Assist the two principals with business and personal errands.
Office Operations
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate vendor relationships.
- Organize office meetings, events, and team gatherings.
- Assist with general office management and day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
