Job Summary

The Video Editor will be responsible for editing a wide range of digital video content, including ads, social media videos, product features, promotional campaigns, testimonials, and long-form brand storytelling. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with strong technical skills, an eye for design, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, on-brand video content.
• Create dynamic cuts for various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, web, etc.).
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, and color correction.
• Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and production teams to interpret briefs and execute visual concepts.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain organized file structures and adhere to workflow best practices.
• Stay current with editing trends, social media formats, and storytelling techniques.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring quality and compliance with specs.
• Provide creative input during pre-production and brainstorming sessions.
  
  

Competency

Skills & Experience

• 8 years of professional video editing experience (agency experience a plus)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Figma
• Strong understanding of pacing, composition, audio mixing, and color grading
• Experience editing for social media and digital advertising
• Basic motion graphics skills; advanced skills a plus
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous editing work

• Experience with AI editing or AI-assisted tools
• Knowledge of 3D or animation software
• Photography or videography skills
