What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Attendant position at The Risher Companies?
The Risher Companies (711 Fit) is looking for a staff member to work in a high-end corporate fitness facility located in Downtown Houston, Texas. The facility includes an array of fitness equipment offerings, group fitness, personal training, and fully stocked locker rooms with a business professional clientele. This part-time position includes, but is not required, the opportunity to grow a commission eligible personal training client base and teach group classes.
- Punctual.
- Greet all patrons when they enter the facility.
- Manage daily member check-in and process retail purchases during the shift.
- Help patrons out in any way possible and provide an enjoyable fitness atmosphere.
- Maintain locker room supplies and process laundry of towels on site.
- Complete any additional duties as assigned.
- Fitness service commissions available from personal training and group classes to certified individuals.
This part-time position will work 25-30 hours per week Monday-Friday at a rate of $15/hr on a firm schedule.
Schedule A: 5am-10:30am
Schedule B: 10am-3:30pm
Schedule C: 3pm-8pm (Fridays 2pm-7pm)
Uniform shirts provided, fitness attire required, must be black in color, shorts, pants, leggings etc. All uniform attire is subject to approval by management.
Preferred Applicant Requirements (education, skills, licenses, etc.)
· 1 years of work experience in a customer service environment
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone, or via email
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Well-groomed and professional fitness appearance
· High School Diploma
· A Personal Training Certificate is a requirement to offer fitness services and be commission eligible
