What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Attendant position at The Risher Companies?
Position Summary
Risher Fitness Management is looking part-time Front Desk Attendant at the Riverstone Fitness Center. Shifts are flexible Monday-Sunday. Looking for someone willing to work early shifts (5:00am) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while evenings and weekends are also available. You can expect 10-20 hours per week once you have been fully onboarded. The Front Desk Associates' top priority is ensuring that residents and guests have an exceptional experience in the fitness center.
Description of Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Opening/closing the facility
- Monitoring the fitness center and all participants
- Knowledge of how to correctly use and adjust machines
- Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests
- Enforce rules and policies of the fitness center
- Restocking and managing athletic wipes
- Knowledge of services offered
- Clean and maintain the fitness center
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- CPR/First Aid Certified (either current or able to obtaine within 2 weeks of employment)
- High School student, graduate, or equivalent
- Must have great customer service and communication skills
- Must be extremely reliable with consistent transportation
- Must be punctual, on time, friendly, and have a positive attitude
- Must maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Ability to understand and follow set procedures
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and with a team, and perform detail-oriented functions
