HVAC/R Technician

$5000 sign on bonus! As a Licensed HVAC/R Technician, you will repair, maintain, replace and retrofit all types of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment for the benefit of our customers. * Install, maintain, and repair various types of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and air handling systems.
* Troubleshooting and service on building HVAC control systems.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and determine the necessary repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
* Perform system upgrades and controller cutovers
* Perform wiring checkout and assists in systems start-ups
* Perform programming sequence checkout
* Work independently
* Assist in the training of other technicians
* Interpret HVAC and electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure proper installation and service.
* Work in a professional manner in both occupied finish spaces and construction sites.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.

* 1-3 years in HVAC technology, troubleshooting, system controls and repairs
* Experience reading and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
* Building Automation System and Chiller repair/cooling towers and troubleshooting experience preferred
* Valid driver's license with clean driving record
* EPA Universal refrigerant certification required
* Knowledge of safety practices.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
